Quark Distribution Function in Pion within Instanton Liquid Model
We calculate the leading-twist valence-quark distribution function in the pion at a low normalization scale of an order of the inverse average size of an instanton ρc. The quark-pion dynamics and the construction of the quark-pion vertex function are considered in the framework of the instanton liquid model. The parameters of instanton vacuum, the effective instanton radius and quark mass, are ...
متن کاملTransverse momentum dependent quark densities from Lattice QCD
We study transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs) with non-local operators in lattice QCD, using MILC/LHPC lattices. We discuss the basic concepts of the method, including renormalization of the gauge link. Results obtained with a simplified operator geometry show visible dipole deformations of spin-dependent quark momentum densities.

Grinstein Using the formalism of parton virtuality distribution functions (VDFs) we establish a connection between the transverse momentum dependent distributions (TMDs) F(x, k⊥) and quasi-distributions (PQDs) Q (y, p3) introduced recently by ...
متن کاملComposite Operators in Lattice Qcd: Nonperturbative Renormalization †
We investigate the nonperturbative renormalization of composite operators in lattice QCD restricting ourselves to operators that are bilinear in the quark fields. These include operators which are relevant to the calculation of moments of hadronic structure functions. The computations are based on Monte Carlo simulations using quenched Wilson fermions.
متن کاملNonperturbative Renormalization and the QCD Vacuum
We present a self consistent approach to Coulomb gauge Hamiltonian QCD which allows one to relate single gluon spectral properties to the long range behavior of the confining interaction. Nonperturbative renormalization is discussed. The numerical results are in good agreement with phenomenological and lattice forms of the static potential. Typeset using REVTEX 1
